This is Fr. John Madanu, one of the parochial vicars of the family of parishes “Northeast 3”. I am glad to bring to you my tiny Bio. I grew up purely in Southern India. I am the second of three children of Ruberth and Mariyamma Madanu. I was studied in a Catholic missionary School where I was inspired and motivated to become a priest. I Joined St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary at the age of 15 to begin my priestly studies. I completed my philosophical studies simultaneously with graduation and entered the Vijnananilayam, Institute of Philosophy and Religion to pursue my theology. I was ordained on the 15th of April 2010. The initial 5years of my priesthood, I served as a parochial vicar in three different parishes in my home diocese of Hyderabad, India. I was promoted as a pastor of St. Andrew’s Church, a tiny parish consisting of ten families, where served the Lord for four years. And it was during my fourth year I was given an opportunity to work in overseas to bring the kingdom of God to the people through my life. I have been serving as the parochial at St. Brigid, Xenia, St. Paul, Yellow Springs, St. Augustine, Jamestown since October 2019. I am super excited to be part of the “Northeast 3 Family of Parishes”. I thank and praise God for all the abundant blessings and graces bestowed upon me all through my priestly journey. As I embark, I continue to hold on to the grace of God as St. Paul says in his letter to 2Cor 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you”. Fr. John Madanu.
