Eucharist

The Eucharist is the third sacrament of Initiation by which Catholics partake of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.  The Eucharist is seen as "the source and summit" of Christian living.  So important is it that participation in the Eucharistic celebration is seen as obligatory on every Sunday and Holy Day and is encouraged on other days.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: “In the most blessed sacrament of the Eucharist ‘the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ and, therefore, the whole Christ is truly, really, and substantially contained.’ This presence is called “real” too, but because it is presence in the fullest sense: that is to say, it is asubstantial presence by which Christ, God and man, makes himself wholly and entirely present” [No. 1374].

Eucharist schedule is located in the left column on each page of the web site.
